This program will be an opportunity to join CCC in ministry to the Alachua County area. You will take part in Christian community development first-hand as you join in on real ministry service projects, meeting people’s real spiritual needs, and fostering real human development within our community. Past Interns and their roles/testimonies!

Claire Sipple, Office Manager/Home Visits

I am a newcomer to CCC and the city of Gainesville as a whole. Though I’m not quick to tell people here in gator territory, I’m a student at Florida State. I got to know CCC back in February when Intervarsity, the campus ministry I’m involved with, teamed up with CCC to do some projects in the community. I was interested in the work the many bearded men of CCC were doing in Gainesville, and how as a small non-profit they were able to really get to know their neighbors and offer to meet more than just their physical needs. My time as an intern with CCC so far has been a huge blessing and I’m excited about spending the rest of my summer here serving with them.

Hannah Walker, Office Manager/Home Visits

Recently graduated from Gainesville High School, I was looking for an adventure over the summer that I would always remember. Working with CCC was not my first choice, but this is what the Lord has planned for me and I am excited to be a part of the action. I was introduced to the work done by CCC through some friends of mine who needed me to help them out with some volunteer work here. I continued to work on several projects with CCC throughout the months following and as summer neared with no plans, I decided to jump on board as an intern. I am quite blessed to be working along side these people so on fire for God.

Jason Sanders, Grab Bar Installer

Hello and my name is Jason Sanders. You can find me with a drill making some grab bars happen. You see, I install them. It’s what I do with the triple C. I’m a construction man, though people might say I’m a “Jack of All Trades.” Though as I said, my name is Jason. Please don’t call me Jack. What’s that? No, I hail from Shreveport, Louisiana. As for Gainesville…well I’m here until NBI gets off its feet (please ask me about NBI).

Adam Guerreo, Project Manager

Thankfully, God loved me, and reached out to save me (with gentleness and reverence). I love to work and make money, I also love to help people and do good things. But, I would rather be obedient to Him who is perfect.  Right now He wants me to lay down my ambition and follow Him. My prayer is not that God would change the world (I know He could), instead I ask that He would conform me to His heart, so that wherever I walk, even my footprints would praise Him.
